The country is focusing on a "cap and trade" scheme as its method of removing carbon dioxide from the air. Congress is moving in that direction. This means that those companies which add a lot of carbon dioxide to the air (utilities) will pay a lot for "carbon credits," while non-emitting companies (Google and Microsoft) can sell their carbon credits for income.

Google and Microsoft do not need money from the utility companies. Furthermore, Wall Street is going to do most of the buying and selling of the carbon credits. Whose money are they going to be ripping off? Everyone's. They take money from industry, and people pay more for energy. Think Enron.

What was wrong with Enron, when cap and trade is supposed to do the exact same thing, in the exact same way, by the exact same persons? Cap and trade is Enron forced onto everyone.

The supposed purpose is to create an incentive to reduce carbon emissions. But incentive is not the problem. Cost and technology are the problems. Adding banking swindles to the cost does not make the technology more available.

It's like increasing a person's incentive to make more money by robbing him in a dark alley. People already have enough incentive to make money. Robbing them only makes it harder for them to succeed.

But this whole idea of cap and trade is similar to all other aspects of the global warming fraud: There is no relationship to objective reality, because ulterior motives are the driving force. There are layers to motives, with the bottom layers being subconscious.

The motive at the top (most visible) layer is to force people to use less of everything including resources and energy. Making resources, technology and energy more expensive will supposedly force people to use less. The promoters of the fraud sometimes say they don't care what the truth about carbon dioxide is as long as it forces people to conserve more—like closing coal plants and replacing them with cryogenic natural gas shipped by boat conserves more.

The next layer down in the motives is population control. Population controllers assume there are too many people, and making life more difficult and miserable is supposed to result in fewer people.

Farther down, the motive is a war against the lower classes which all sin creates. Vulnerable persons are always the primary losers from greed, selfishness, domination and exploitation; so they fight back with the only thing they have, which is the power of truth. Truth is the only force corrupters cannot subdue, and being losers is the most intolerable result. So corrupters hate their victims and fight a covert and subconscious war against them. Making everything more expensive is a major way of fighting that war.

It is because of these motives that nothing real is being done to solve problems related to resources or energy. Corrupt persons assume you have to destroy life to save life. They put their faith in more destructivity, because sin is what they do. To put their faith in constructivity would prevent them from fighting their war against enemies.

Real solutions would start by improving the national grid, which is limiting the ability to send wind and solar power around and is so dilapidated that it results in blackouts. But that would be solving problems instead of creating them. A total contempt for solving real problems shows what the motives are.
