10% Math Greenhouse gasses do what they do in such a short distance, at such a low concentration, that the first 1-10% does almost all that they do. Carbon dioxide absorbs all radiation available to it in 10 meters near the surface of the earth (Heinz Hug). Increasing the amount of CO2 in the air only shortens the distance, which is not an increase in temperature. This point is not disputed, and it forced propagandists to contrive a fake mechanism high in the atmosphere to synthesize a logic for global warming. Therefore, if there were 10% as much CO2 in the air, it would absorb all radiation available to it in 10 times as much distance, which is 100 meters. Absorbing in 100 meters is not much different from absorbing in 10 meters. So the first 10% does most of what CO2 does.
